"In August 2003, I employed Finicky Floors, Inc in Riverside to redo approximately 2000 square feet of flooring in our home we just purchased. The home was built in 1946 and had two separate room additions and modifications over the years. This presented a real problem with the flooring due to uneven surfaces, multiple layers of previous flooring as well as an original slab that had many high and low spots.

The project took the installer 4 days longer than had been planned due to the issues above but the completed work was absolutely fantastic. Since the completion, even the realtor whom sold us the house has commented that this is the single best investment we had made on improvements.

I wanted to take this time to note the professionalism which they approached the entire process with as well as express my personal thanks and gratitude to Les Rood, mgr. of the Finicky Floors in Riverside and to his installers.

Les followed up throughout the entire installation process and made sure we were satisfied with all the work. The installers ran a clean job considering they spent 2 days tearing out the old tile, carpet, and cork floors just to get to the concrete. Once there, they used over 1700 pounds of floor leveling compound and sanded over and over again until they knew the new wood floor would go down flat.

The results speak for themselves as I've looked at a lot of other wood floors, and do not find many if any, that rate up to what they accomplished for me. Obviously they have my recommendation and should you need a flooring company, you will not find any better in my opinion."
